My name is Tim, one half of the Last Sign Team and I’m trying my hand at some blog writing! GULP! Being a Lancashire based business ourselves there’s something extra special about seeing our little signs pop into our local cafes, bakeries and creative spaces.
As you may or may not know, Last Sign started with a simple idea born out of our own family coffee business, so we know firsthand just how much graft, passion and attention to detail goes into running an independent business.
I thought for our first blog it would be great to give a little shout out to a few brilliant Lancashire businesses that have supported us along the way.

01 / STUDIO BLACK COFFEE - BOLTON
Callum and Tobias are two of the loveliest cheeky chaps going! Two creative from the TV and Film industry running their own small batch roastery and coffee shop in Bolton. They even have their own coffee van designed to fuel everything from early mornings to late night editing sessions. They have such a unique business and an epic set up. They were one of the first to order from us. Thank you for that.
02/ HOUSE OF SOUL - FULWOOD & PRESTON
I met Gemma at my local Gym (Raw & Outdoor) and can confirm she is just as good at Romanian deadlifts as she is at running not one but TWO incredible Health and Wellness studios. House of Soul offer a wide range of bespoke treatments from facials and massages, to manicures and pedicures, waxing and eye treatments.
They have such an awesome ethos. Holistic vibes! Don’t be fooled by the calm and serenity in the studio - She goes HARD on a deep tissue massage. NOT CALMING. But GREAT!
03/ FOUR ONE TWO COFFEE - CHORLEY
If he’s warned us once, he’s warned us 100 times. BOOK A TABLE!! Scott and Beks are the founders of 412 - Mine and my brothers fave local coffee shop. They know their way around a flat white and Scott is a latte are legend. A latte art Lancashire lengend- too much? Bex is the brains behind the brownies and so much more. Make sure you order the Cherry Bakewell Blondie. And always book a table at the weekend to avoid missing out! Their food is next level! Soughdough from Hive Bakery - YES PLEASE

There are so many more local businesses that have ordered from us so I have just come to the conclusion that I simply must write a local Lancashire legends recurring blog. For 2 reasons.
Reason number 1 - Our SEO advisor people told us we should right a blog, its good for ranking on google apparently. SURE.
Reason number 2 - I have enjoyed this. I feel like Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City crouched over her laptop overlooking a Manhattan skyline at midnight. Im not though, im just a boy, writing this instead of working from home and avoiding doing my "Real" job
